I made a similiar post years ago, and I've been on-and-off ragnarok because of this. I joined Valk in hopes of more people to play with but here I am again.
I know there are plenty of european players on Valk, but how do you manage? Timezone is such a b1tch! People are scattered through all the guilds and there aren't really any european guilds. Woe is 2-4am. What kind of nolife can play during that time? I got work 7am and a girlfriend and a house to look after, I need to sleep.
How do you participate in end game? Endless tower runs, Nydghoggur, guild parties, Battlegrounds, everything is usually organized around my 11:50pm when I really shouldn't be playing anymore. Its hard to make friends when I can hardly interact with people. Its hard to practise your skills when pvp and Bgs are always empty(read: at best- farmed) Its impossible to participate in endgame MvP runs when you don't know people.
I'm on the verge of quitting again because my prime playing time from 5pm-11pm is just a huge solofest. I've got nothing to look forward to since I can't partake in any events unless I quit my job and start playing nights.
How do europeans play iRO? Are you single? Are you nocturnal? Or do you have a collection of friends from the similiar timezone? Please give me a reason to play. I've always loved this game but I'm really always getting left behind because I have to do everything on my own.
